Salsette Receiving station is the main Interconnecting Station between MSEDCL and TATA POWER which come under North Zone of Transmission network located close to central railway (Bhandup) and Navi Mumbai. Also Kolshet Sub Station is controlled from here, which is main source of supplying water to Mumbai area.
